Caleb Shortt is a security specialist and entrepreneur.

He has a B.Sc. in Computer Science with a special focus on Software Engineering, an M.Sc. in Computer Science where his research focused on applying machine learning algorithms to better target software security testing (Specifically fuzz-testing), and spent two years pursuing a PhD towards improving the false positive rates of intrusion detection systems, and then in developing practical attacks against facial recognition systems.

Aside from technical topics, Caleb’s interests include business, politics, writing, photography, architecture, and current events. He is an entrepreneur at heart and he encourages those around him to follow their own entrepreneurial pursuits.
